I have been craving artichokes lately and was dreaming of having them when I go to Rome next month. BUT…In the meantime I had lunch at The Butcher’s Daughter and found these lovelies on the menu. A very unique preparation with tons of flavor, and a bit of a kick. Really, really enjoyed this dish. Would order again for sure.
Another favorite restaurant on Abbot Kinney Blvd is Butchers Daughter, we usually opt for the pizzas, but this time we also decided to get a starter. He was hungry. We randomly picked the Fried Artichoke Hearts without much thought and were pleasantly surprised. They were on a bed of dressed watercress and had a spicy pickled Fresno relish on top. They literally looked like chicken 🍗 at first glance, but tasted anything but. I loved it. The spices worked so well together and left you wanting more.
