This was one of the worst burgers I have had of late. First of all,
the menu label was “fried tofu sandwich” so receiving a burger bun was a surprise. Floret is an all vegetarian restaurant in SEATAC, the Seattle airport but it’s not all vegan. I stopped here with a 40min layover and didn’t have much time to eat and get to my next gate.
The deep fried tofu came with a puddle of oil on the plate, not a great sign. The tofu and whole burger itself didn’t taste like anything but salt. I could only stomach a few bites before I called it quits and got a box to bring the rest home for my partner who has an iron stomach.
The sweet potato fries had a nice seasoning on them however there was about 5x of that seasoning than actually needed so they became overwhelming really quickly and also coated my hands with powder.
This dish was $20 USD and really not worth it! It was a send back scenario but there was no time for it and I wasn’t confident another version would have been better.
Next time I would get the grain bowl because the breakfast I had here a few weeks ago wasn’t bad.
