Toasted coconut fries with mala mayo

The sauce was really interesting, though it resembled more like assam laksa, somewhat sour, spicy and has good umami

It was alright. Fries were hot but couldn’t really taste the spice of the mala. Coconut shavings were also barely noticeable.

The menu said all their sides are vegan unless otherwise stated so I assume the mala mayo is vegan. Definitely very interesting combination to have shredded coconut with mala mayo...but they were kind of stingy with the toppings and a lot of fries were just...plain with nothing on them. I expected more from paying $8.90 for this! The mala mayo was also a bit strange and not to my liking.
