little disappointed (very actually) with the service. We ordered four sundaes and a cheeseburger. Then a group came in and ordered seven ice creams and we had to wait until seven ice creams were done until we got our order......
But this tasted pretty good
bit too sweet for my taste.

As Everyday Vegan Grocer is at Haji Lane, a very popular tourist destination, they attracted a random flow of tourists who came for their cold vegan ice cream. It is a very welcoming dessert in a hot afternoon!
I was there with my family & we ordered 4 sundaes & a single patty vegan cheese burger. Then a group of tourists entered & placed orders for the soy soft serve ice cream. The staff served them first…even though I placed my order before them.
It wasn’t just one but a group of them. I was looking forward to eating my sundae…but we had to wait so much longer till the last tourist got her soft serve ice cream.
It would be nice that the staff communicated with me and asked politely whether it was alright for him to serve the group of tourists first & then prepare my order.
Strawberry Lychee Sundae

(1) The soy soft serve ice cream is nice & I am thankful that it isn’t overwhelming sweet.
(2 I don’t really make out the taste of the pink powder sprinkled on top.
(3) The strawberry syrup tasted mild, & I like it this way.
(4) The waffle biscuit provides the crunchiness contrast in this soft serve sundae.
(5) There were about two or three lychee which are from canned fruits soaked in sugar syrup. It tastes nice & brought back sweet childhood memories.

The Sundae on the poster looks really generous & good, but the one in my hand looks a little small in comparison. The plastic cup maybe too big for the intended serving. I feel it would be better to use a smaller cup, and the intended serving will look amazing at the top!

This isn’t a restaurant or a cafe but a simple deli within a grocery shop. There is a table outside for you to stand & enjoy your food. I love the potted plants outside the shop that provide very beautiful greenery while enjoying my sundae.
