I actually had this the first day right after I arrived, and it had me
thinking uh-oh this is gonna be a long week 🙊 Thankfully I've gone on to have better versions of #amok (via the cooking class at Meet the Province, no less 😉), but this one won't be remembered for the right reasons. The curry wasn't particularly flavourful (didn't know #coconutmilk, #galangal, #lemongrass, and #ginger could combine that weakly 😅 I tend to think strong flavours are needed to get the best out of #aubergine and #zucchini; the #sweetpotato was unexpectedly good 😋
The best thing about this restaurant was probably the ambience and decor. And the complimentary starter 😅
