I think the kale tofu is made in-house because I haven’t seen it anywhere else.
Came with this moreish brown sauce that I dipped the tofu in. The nice lunch set was made nicer with 20% off for takeaways. 😄
The kale tofu with wild rice cost $15.80. I really liked the fragrant and savoury
bamboo miso wild rice! It had a slightly crunchy texture which contrasted well with the more mushy chickpeas and carrot cubes. This was served with a stack of silken tofu encrusted in kale and drizzled in gravy, though unfortunately the tofu itself tasted somewhat bland.
The dish looked really nice but was clearly microwaved. It arrived pretty much 2 minutes
after I ordered and the rice was piping hot (as was its container). The rice was pretty much free of flavor and the only flavor I could detect in the tofu was from the grease it was fried in. The salad was without dressing. All in all this was one of the worst meals I’ve had in Singapore.
An interesting dish. The rice was seasoned with spices that I’m not very familiar with.
It goes pretty well with the tofu. Overall, it was alright, nothing special.
Average in taste, plus points for presentation, but doesnt satisfy the taste buds. Again, super
small portions, not even enough for one of my toddlers. Will not return for this.
