I cannot begin to say how much I appreciate this humble old-school bakery with its

simple but delicious and affordable vegan offerings. These sponge cake squares are light in taste and texture albeit with a slightly greasy aftertaste. They are topped with sweet cream and each square individually decorated with fruit-flavoured syrup or sprinkles so that each one looks different. Eating this is such a comforting and nostalgic experience in itself.

Wow! What a find - an assortment of vegan cakes! So many nice different flavors.

Did feel it wasn’t of very high quality though; the cheap kind. But still a nice treat that was great for sharing! Would prefer they use purely paper/ cardboard instead of plastic.

Strawberry cake on the left and vanilla cake on the right. The strawberry cake tasted

nicer but also didn’t taste anything like strawberries. The vanilla one had a weird artificial kiwi taste, I think from the piping on top.
Each slice is $5 (seems to have increased from $4.50).. I wouldn’t repurchase. I think I’d rather buy the Pandan chiffon cake which is also $5ish but for the whole cake

Old school design and taste (esp the artificially concocted rainbow-hued gels). Gone too soon.. Had

to fight off the omnivores for these.

How reminiscing! Brings back all the childhood memories. Not too sweet. But a little expensive.

This slice costs $4.50. But worth it for a tiny treat once in awhile. If there isnt a crowd, stay back to chat with the shop owner! Very friendly uncle.
