豆沙饼 Crispy and gooey mochi-like sesame pastry with red bean paste filling sandwiched inside. A

little oily but very yummy especially when eaten hot! P.S. The new one-page dim sum menu at D'Life Signature Chinatown Point is fully vegan. (Allium-free, $4.80 / 2 pieces) #sgvegan #vegandimsum

This is my must order too! Like the crispy outer layer and sweet inner fillings.

G8 dessert

What even is #tausarpiah 🙈 I’m not as familiar with this flattened rendition as I

am with the #tambun of Penang 🏝️ “Tau Sar” literally translates to “bean paste” so that perhaps clues us into the many renditions of this “piah” 🤭 This one was filled with #redbean instead of the more common #mungbean 🌱 It’s a sweeter kind of #pastry to the latter which tends to be more savoury. In spite of that, I think the #sesameseeds topping balances it all out so it doesn’t feel too out of place with the rest of the #dimsum we were having. I love all the sweet-savoury dishes Chinese cuisine has to offer 😋

Pastry is like mochi. Very Soft and a little chewy. Red bean filling a little

too sweet for my taste. Filling was a fine paste, not those with bean textures. Oily snack but tasted okay.
