Might officially be my favourite dish at D’Life, besides their assam laksa! The 4 ‘treasures’
refer to eggplant, lady finger, okra and petai (bitter bean). They have a non-spicy version but I ordered the sambal one. It’s not very spicy despite a fair amount of sliced chilis in it, but more of a vinegary taste. Really quite appetising but the petai might be an acquired taste for some (the texture is crunchy, similar to a garlic clove and has a fermented sour taste).
