First time trying QQ Rice bc there just aren’t any outlets near when I live/work. Can Totally makes a good proper nutritious meal (subject to your choices and server generosity? 🤔 ) having tried QQ, I’m totally going back for more if there’s ever the chance. Really like how flavourful yet clean the ingredients are, v filling (5 ingredients stuffed inside wow!) and loving that It’s customisable with truly a wide range of varieties even for vegans! & all labelled clearly. It’s like that Asian version of salad bowl/wrap and so convenient - just eat in a single handful although I brought mine home. When you receive it, it’s a piping hot ball of rice 😋😋 since the steamed rice 🍙 is scooped directly out of pot. I chose the purple rice which is v grainy - just the way I like it. Purple grain isn’t v common at food stalls or even supermarkets as compared to brown rice or red rice so I’m glad they offer this as an option! The button mushrooms I chose was quite peppery. You can see broccoli peeking out 🥦 clean but yummy. Contributes to the veg component. Got the veg floss bc it seemed like a popular choice amongst reviews but did find it on the sweeter side.. & wasn’t my fav ingredient Got burdock strips for that unique root veg component. Extra diff texture for the rice roll ~ was just alright. Few Other components I recall seeing were like edamame, kimchi, corn, preserved veg etc You really would spoilt for choice and doesn’t help the extremely indecisive me lol 🙃 & the server was rly quite done w me and rushing me even tho I went at non-peak 3pm and nobody behind me 🥲 Choice of rice + 5 ingredients = $4.80 You can expect to top up $0.30 if ‘premium’ ingredients are chosen
