this was interesting! i don’t actually remember what #deepdishpizza was like when i had it nonvegan… but THIS was good. i was a little surprised i liked it this much because im not much of a #sauce person, but i was delighted by this pizza! i thought that the “traditional” would be a good introduction to #deepdish, so i ordered that one. i enjoyed the flavor of the sauce and the #vegancheese … the texture of the #cheese wasn’t glue-y or sticky like some is, which i appreciated. the #pepperoni seitan and #vegangroundbeef tasted great! the #veganpepperoni was my favorite, and while it was difficult to tell how closely these things resembled their nonvegan counterparts due to the sauce and cheese, i knew that it all came together very well! the #pizzacrust was surprisingly #crispy for how much sauce was piled on top of it, and i enjoyed the taste and quality of the crust. it held up very well and didn’t get soggy while i was eating it. overall? i was very impressed by this #veganpizza, and i’d definitely recommend this restaurant, their deep dish pizza, AND this #pizza specifically. #pizzalover
Split this massive pie with our friends! Best thing about having vegan friends is always sharing yummy vegan food. Look how incredible this looks! I don't normally even like faux meat on pizzas but this was a different story! The crust was perfect, the seitan pepperoni was delicious as well as the sausage. If you're in Chicago this is a must stop!
delicious! absolutely would recommend. great flavors
The “Traditional” comes with marinara, almond-based mozz, seitan pepperoni, and soy sausage crumbles. It was delicious and their dough is fantastic! I just wish the sausage and pepperoni (especially the pepperoni) would’ve had more flavor. It was slightly lacking in the spicy smokiness I like in a pepperoni.
