I actually had this cake 2.5 years ago at another location of theirs and loved it! This time, it seems they’ve changed the cake recipe, and it’s good, just not amazing. Mine was a bit burnt on the bottom which made the edges hard and chewy. They must microwave this before they serve it so it was PIPING HOT. The coconut ice cream is good — light with chunks of coconut in it.
The cake is so moist. And the cinnamon aroma is lovely. It is drenched in sweetener, most likely maple syrup which makes it too sweet. It is served with coconut ice cream with tiny pieces of coconut meat inside.
