This is $4, which is quite affordable even for hawker food. This is not a

daily item on their menu, it is only on Wednesdays and some other days of the week (if I’m not wrong). I’m also surprised that nobody reviewed this yet.

This comes with beansprouts, beancurd skin, tau pok and mock meat (prawn and those chicken-ish pieces that they put on porridge, I’m not sure if it’s even mock meat). But anyways, I asked for no mock meat so they replaced it with tofu. It comes without egg naturally, so there’s no need to request for no eggs. The spinach in this picture is added by me as I did takeaway and heated it up, so I decided to add more veggies. So ingredients wise, there seem to be even protein but not too much veggies, but this is what to be expected for an authentic laksa anyways.

Taste wise, this is not a light laksa (like Greendot), this is more of a shrimpy oily heavier laksa. In my opinion, a more authentic version but not a dish I can stomach every day unlike Greendot‘s laksa. Spice level wise, it is not too spicy, it’s a normal laksa spice level (without added chilli).

This is one of the better tasting vegan laksa, in my top 3 favourite laksa for sure. I used to crave their laksa all the time when I first started eating this, but after a while as it is quite heavy, I don’t really crave it that regularly. Overall, it’s a nice close to authentic laksa (in my opinion) and if you manage to see them selling this that day, try it!
