Coconut Udon

This didn’t feel like an asian dish at all, with the cheese and creamy coconut white sauce, but the taste was super yummy !! Veryyy creamy, nice fully vegan viet restaurant. #udon #vietnamese

For some reason I was expecting this dish to be a creamy coconut soup with udon noodles, but it was more like a creamy Mac and cheese sauce over thick udon noodles. I have to say, I was not disappointed!! I am a big fan of vegan Mac and cheese, so probably more up my alley anyways! It also had thinly sliced mushrooms mixed in which were delicious and tender. They garnished the dish with crispy lotus chips, which I’ve never had before, but loved!!! This dish was delicious and quite filling, I would definitely order it again. #veganvietnamese
