Chocolate cake with Peanut butter frosting

Tastes as beautiful as it looks! If the slices had been less expensive, I would have bought three. I am not a chocolate cake fan, but I love peanut butter, so I thought I'd give it a try. As with the other cakes I've had at Spiral Diner, this cake felt denser and heavier...more filling. It's not a bad thing -- just an observation. The chocolate was not as sweet as a traditional sheet cake. The frosting was glorious! Thick creamy peanut buttery and sweet! The was a decent-sized piece of cake. Due to the size and richness, I could only eat about half. I happily ate the rest later. .The ratio of frosting to cake was almost perfect; It was 40% frosting: 60% cake. I tend to like more frosting than the average person. I would have preferred 60% frosting: 40%. Fortunately I had a friend who was more than happy to help me even out the percentage with a few bites of cake. I can't give it five stars for nutrition -- it's cake, after all.
