This pie was incredible. The pastry was the perfect amount of butteriness and flakiness. Don’t let the salad fool you, I ate all my boyfriends chips (which were also incredible). Definitely want to go back and get this again!
Lovely to see that Oumeul has started selling vegan pies. The Chickpea & Lentil Bobotie pies are priced at a very reasonable R36 each and are a DECENT size. I am a huge pie fan, and this one hits the spot: the chutney gives it that genuine bobotie aftertaste. HIGHLY RECOMMEND #capetownveganmademedoit 🥧🦄🌱🇿🇦
