On our first visit at « Pois Chiche » we both chose the Chef’s Plate as the main dish. They offer 5 different plates, all of which include hummus, seasonal salads & vegetables, garniture and the Lebanese bread. Chef’s plate contains some tasty crunchy cauliflower pieces, a few perfectly baked and seasoned aubergine slices and some of the best falafel I have ever tried. 💚 This plate is definitely very fulfilling and rich in taste. There’s a nice mix of flavour from fresh salads, some olives, one dolma, to some spicy tajine with vegetables. Chef’s plate costs €17,90. All worth it considering the amount of food, taste and the fact that they work with organic farms in and around Brussels. They are a conscious food bar and I love it that they compost their organic waste which saves up to 1Ton of CO2 per year. 😍 They serve 100% Belgian chickpeas and everything is homemade. Also, great location. 👌🏼 All dishes are vegan but they do offer eggs/cheese in some plates 🤷🏻‍♀️, so make sure there’s none in your dishes. 😊🫶🏼
