I walked past this shop and was so excited to see a vegan pastel de

nata on the menu - something I never thought I would have again. It’s freshly made (you can watch them make them), flakey pastry, delicious filling and overall a new favourite.

Imagine our excitement when we

saw this little shop has vegan natas. and oh my, they are delicious.

Natas is a baked Portuguese #custard #pastry with a touch of #cinnamon. I will definitely visit them again. They are best eaten fresh, don't let them stand overnight (not that it was an option in my house)

Got it #forthedollar . A nice enough nata (custard pastry) but milktart and even Danish

are yummier. The custard was a bit too sweet. Two natas for 🏷️R33.

the rich delicious custard filling. I was blown away by the taste and many others too judging by how popular the vegan ones are. 😃
