I stopped by Can’t Believe It’s Vegan for a lunch item and discovered they had
a brunch today. As part of my order, I got Fried Potatoes and Onions. I spoke with the chef, who is also the owner, and requested some ketchup for the potatoes. He was happy to oblige and said that is something he doesn’t think about giving as part of the order due to his mother cooked and seasoned the potatoes she made perfectly. When I ate these potatoes, I quickly discovered what he meant. This potatoes were very good! They were seasoned so well, that I used very little ketchup. The onion were not overpowering at all and gave a nice complement to the flavor. There were a couple of bites that felt a little heavy with cooking oil. The oil was not overpowering with the whole potato order.
I will say this about I Can’t Believe It’s Vegan; the food you get is freshly cooked because they are prepare your order after you place it. No soggy or cold food.
