Tofu Vish and Chips

Wow Wow wow. Finally got to Scarborough and went straight here to get a takeaway. Tofu in batter fried and served with chips or salad and delicious pepadew Mayo and salad dressing. So tasty and filing. Five stars

I enjoyed this meal! Really impressed with Camel rock! So many vegan options and a really great venue to chill out and eat good food! Can’t wait to visit them again and try more of their vegan options!

Batter was delicious, however, tofu was in very thick strips and had no taste apart from batter and sauce. Portions were huge and the sides were also very tasty. Might not order this meal again but will definitely be at the restaurant again.

I’ve been meaning to try this ‘fish’ and chips for a while now! Amazing presentation and such a nice setting to have lunch. The tofu was soft and tasty! Well priced at R85 too. I must say the beer batter was extremely oily though and with the fried chips left us feeling a bit sick. We had to pat off the oil with serviettes, and we usually love fried food. I’d recommend sharing this (it’s a generous portion) and getting something fresh to go with it like a salad! #veganin2020 #capetownveganmademedoit
