This rice was cooked to perfection. Tasty however it's not spicy 🔥
Hmmm I didn’t really like this - it wasn’t spicy enough at all for me
and it didn’t really taste like mapo tofu. Also would‘ve loved more tofu chunks! @helmos LOVED it though and he says it tastes like a rich gravy or game soup.
This is the vegan version, the non-vegan one comes with an egg
really really enjoyed this variation of mapo tofu as it was well balanced and not
too spicy! it also came with a really good tofu to rice ratio. definitely will order again if i ever revisit! just remember opt for no egg to veganise it ;)
Delicious mapo tofu. Not too spicy. On a bed of Japanese rice. Really delicious
My husband had this and really enjoyed it! I’ve had it before as well -
it does taste close to its meat counterpart and would have liked a bit more spice!
Served over white rice. Hot and filling. Not too spicy. I would go back and
order it again.
