Black forest chocolate pancakes

🍒🍫🥞I couldn’t resist trying these pancakes for brunch despite it being more like a 🍮dessert. They were awesome with the cherries, chocolate, and 🌰nuts for some protein and crunch. Beautiful 🌺presentation. £13.50 We were here for 12:30 in the upstairs dining room and I found it quite noisy as it was full. I guess that’s good it was packed. We also had the kimchi brioche croque monsieur again which was great but didn’t make my partner cry this time. 🥺 He wanted to go back two weeks after we’d just been. a bit toooo sweet, kind of gritty but still very indulgent! loved the tartness of the cherries 🍒 with the semi-sweet chocolate. in hindsight, i would opt for the french toast instead. paired it with an iced oat latte which was not too great either. can’t entirely fault the place though, i think there are better options available. overall: great ambience, beautifully decorated place & felt so snug even though its in the busy busy borough market!

Very chocolaty pancakes, super filling. The cherry sauce was amazing. In order to finish them we needed to share them between us.
