After my failed visit to the farmers market we stopped by at ALK and I got this delicious croissant sandwich!! - it doesn’t look that good cause I ate it later hehe Btw I was super happy to see this place full of people!! The catalyst today was a coupon I had in “Toronto’s First Ever Plant-Based Deals Book”. This Basil Feta Croissant Sandwich was fantastic!! Very fresh, made to order, with fresh real ingredients. I rarely have pesto, but after having this sandwich, I may have to have it more often. ALK is a very small restaurant in the inner part of Toronto. Surprisingly, there was a steady stream of customers, which is always good to see. I’ll return, for sure.
