This is from the stand ‘Vincent Denis’. It’s the only dessert stand there, and they have one vegan option: These banana ‘pearls’.
First the food: DELECTABLE, DELICIOUS, YUMMYYYYY 🤤🤤🤤 It’s chocolate balls with banana cream inside, like pralines (also praline in english?). They are sprinkled in some kind of granola/speculoos mix 😋😋
I did not like the buying experience tho. Firstly, I asked what pearls are, she said nothing and went to get a sample for me to taste (not a vegan one). So I politely declined, which visibly made her annoyed. My friend tasted and explained to me that it tasted like chocolate covered ice cream balls. Which made her even more annoyed, ‘it’s not ice cream maam’😒. (Haha)
Then I ordered. It ended up being €10 (🤑🤑!!). But I thought this was going to be €9, which is my bad for reading it wrong on the menu. I politely asked why it was €1 more than stated on the menu, which she replied with an attitude that made me feel like I’m the dumbest person in the world...
Nonetheless, this was delicious🤤, extremely overpriced tho🤑, but the only vegan dessert in this whole food stand market…. 🐺
