#lockdown period in SG and my love of bread got me ordering two loaves! This (pumpernickel) and their sourdough (confirmed with them that both are vegan). It’s not really easy to get pumpernickel here as it is an acquired taste and most locals prefer soft breads (I am the weird one here).
Their pumpernickel bread cost $9 and it is quite worth for money as it is dense and heavy despite the small size. Exterior was hard but moist and soft on the inside 😋 and had a strong rye flavour! Tasted very good when toasted - tried it with scrambled ‘eggs’, avocados, marmite and vegan ‘butter’ and homemade stew etc or even on its own!
