I spent last weekend in the Ottawa area and went out
to dinner at a small restaurant in Gatineau, Quebec. My date was a non-vegan and she very willingly chose this vegan restaurant to celebrate her birthday. I guess my vegan lifestyle has spurred her curiosity.  Needless to say, I’m not complaining.
We shared 3 starters/appetizers and 1 entrée. The second starter I am reviewing is Potstickers. There are many reviews on abillion for this restaurant, but this is the first review for potstickers. So I don’t know if this is a new menu item or one that has just been overlooked. 
These potstickers were absolutely fantastic. I’ve cooked them at home before, but of course, they didn’t turn out as good as these. In fact, because of my experience, I was reluctant to order these. But I’m so glad I did. 
The potstickers are actually mushroom dumplings, garnished with chili sauce, chili oil, scallops and sesame seeds. The spiciness and heat of the chili sauce and oil really make this dish stand out. We made sure we smothered the potstickers with these.
Without hesitation, I would order these again!
