I visited Animal Liberation Kitchen for the first time; I’ve been meaning
to for quite some time. The catalyst today was a coupon I had in “Toronto’s First Ever Plant-Based Deals Book”.
This Gyro was fantastic!! Very fresh, made to order, with fresh real ingredients. It was a little messy (the naan pita didn’t fold well), but that didn’t matter. It was still quite enjoyable. The tzatziki sauce and chicken flavoured tofu gave it an authentic Greek taste. I was quite impressed with this sandwich/wrap.
ALK is a very small restaurant in the inner part of Toronto. Surprisingly, there was a steady stream of customers, which is always good to see. I’ll return, for sure. I would have no qualms about getting this wrap again.
