Almond Brioche

This has to be one of the best vegan pasties in the world! Served warm with the delicious almond sauce and perfectly textured dough, can’t wait to have this again!

This Almond brioche was absolutely delicious!!!! I thought it looked dry but it was not, it was super sweet, nutty and just yum.

Okja is sucha cool little place right next to the pick n pay in camps bay. Conveniently located and the tastiest treats. The almond brioche croissant is soo flaky and buttery and not to mention huge! Even my non-vegan hubby was hooked! We also tried their cinnamon doughnut, perfect texture and sweetness. Just double check their operating times as not to be disappointed.

This alone is worth a trip to Okja! It comes warm out of the oven and is perfectly fluffy on the inside and crisp on the outside with a beautiful thin glaze over the top. A few years ago I was only dreaming about vegan pastries like this. Perfection 👌
