Ive been a second time at Avó and tried the Bitoque. They say it is
the highlight and it really keep up with the expectations!

The best vegan Bitoque in Portugal with fried “egg” 🤭 eheh
Yesterday I tried this vegan version of the traditional Portuguese dish "Bitoque". It consists of
a piece of meat (in this case a delicious and tender slice of seitan), with a fried egg on top (we had a "vegan egg" and it was a great discovery!), with French fries and rice as a side dish.
It brought me back like 10 years, or more, to the time I still ate this at restaurants with my parents, when on vacation.
The staff are really helpful and friendly. The restaurant is very cosy and beautifully-decorated!
I truly recommend this place! Don't miss it, next time you're in Lisbon.
