Can I say that I absolutely love it?!? I am a mega fan of salmon

sushi and despite this dish being vegan, they did an excellent job in mimicking the texture and taste of the fish. So kudos to you! It goes very well with soya sauce and wasabi. I think they also offer other Japanese fashion cuisines, such as their highly raved Tofunagi Maki roll! Do try it?! As it is super crispy with the teriyaki sauce, refreshing bite of cucumber and sushi rice.

Highly recommend you to come early to queue as I queued for 10 mins in order for me to enter! They are very popular in Hougang! Will definitely bring my family here next time.

This may be the closest thing to sashimi that I tried and I love it!

It’s got the texture down and although it may not taste like real sashimi it taste pretty good especially when dipped in the sauce #day5 #1reviewaday #veganisnotscary

OK I was legitimately confused after eating this like it tasted SO MUCH like real

#sashimi??? 🍣🍣 Brought my omnivore friends to lucky cat and they absolutely adored everything - especially this #vegan salmon sashimi! The texture and taste were both spot on! Definitely heading back for this dish 🔜🔜

This was scary! Thankfully not too chewy like konjac usually is, in fact it’s tender,

soft and fishy like the real thing. Anyone excited for the new documentary Seaspiracy? I think it’s timely. I used to eat salmon for almost every meal (at one point my friends said I’m mad for salmon) For a moment it tasted too real I had to remind myself we’re in a veg restaurant (they have a lot of vegan options, milk & egg allergens are noted) Some restaurants have salmon sashimi too but those sometimes contain milk for god knows why. At $4 it’s worth a try for novelty, not sure about the nutrition factor but sure satisfies the craving at least for me! Now aburi mentaiko next please? 🍣 #abillionlove

I’ve never been so stoked to be having vegan salmon right now, especially after watching

Netflix’s documentary Seaspiracy! 🌊 I absolutely hated seafood growing up. I would go to all extremes to avoid them as a kid, let alone shelled creatures with claws & tails still intact when served on a plate — which simply reminded me of how this “meal” was once a living, breathing being.

This salmon replica is pretty tasteless. The texture is similar to jello, most probably made from konjac. However, presentation wise... a meat eater would be totally fooled. Not exactly my favourite dish, neither would it be something I will recommend. But i am primarily here for the lifelike “salmon sashimi” that stole the show. Given how realistic this sashimi platter looks, it just proves how much we do not need to be consuming those poor sentient beings 🐟 Protect our oceans & watch Seaspiracy on Netflix ✌🏻

This had a similar taste and texture to salmon sashimi. It was enjoyable. And impressive

as well. Next step, feed this to your carnist family and friends🤭

Haha! So happy to have a special night out with good dinner & many surprises

❤️❤️❤️
Have been wanted come here since soooo long ago.
This salmon sashimi, texture really like salmon 10/10 😂 the taste I give 7/10! Really not bad and good price 👍🏻

Pretty good and tasty vegan sashimi. This is on par with Joie’s if I’m not

remembering wrongly. At $4 there are quite a few slices and it’s so satisfying to chew on these things ☺️

This is defined the highly of my dining experience at Lucky Cat!!! Probably the only

vegan sashimi i could find in Singapore. I would go back just for this. The texture and taste is on point, I am also very very very grateful that the white stripes are not made of dairy. My wish has been granted.
