I like the idea of layering #beancurd skin and #seaweed to form the #vegan #unagi

(eel); it gives it a seafoody taste and along with the soft and rough texture combo, it is similar to actual unagi slices, if you know what I mean.
This #vegansushi goes well with the preserved #ginger slices. I’ll order this again.

A highlight of the night! Cucumber and avocado with vegan Mayo and seaweed that gives

off an unagi taste was such a delight! I love it so much! Can see why it’s such a bestseller amongst the #vegancommunity 😍😍😍

This tasted one-dimensional with the sweet teriyaki sauce overpowering everything else and the sushi felt

too crispy / crunchy with the pairing of the fried tofu unagi, tempura mushroom & cucumber. Prefer Herbivore’s rendition altho much pricier

Well done with the tofunagi, crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. Teriyaki

sauce is too sweet. Perhaps the tofunagi itself can be made more savoury to even out the sweet sauce.
Update: I tested the maki again and realised that the rice is not vinegar-y enough. Tofuangi itself is savoury enough already. So maybe rice needs to be more sour

The tofunagi rly had an unagi taste n texture n it’s made super crispy!! The

maki crumbles a lil easily but not a big deal since it tasted rly great

Again, the best vegan Unagi (Eel) I’ve ever had. A lot of places flop with

tofu making this but the folks at Lucky Cat nailed it! Texture is unreal and full of flavour #abillionlove

Omg. This can compete against Herbivore and Im soo obssessed. Slightly cheaper but no lack

Enjoyed the texture of the dish! It also had a sweet and savory flavor. Could

do with less of the dressing on top though (yes I am not a dressing type of gal, ahah).
