Newly opened vegan restaurant in Chinatown!
🍵 Traditional Hakka Leicha made with fresh herbs and vegetables

- really yummy with the herbal + earthy flavours combined with the rice, veggies and beans. Been a fan since they started in Woodlands!

This was the first place that got me absolutely HOOKED on leichafan! & even after

discovering I love leicha and sourcing other restaurants/stalls, Thunder Tree still wins my heart the most. ❤️

Feel they have many unique selling points because:
1. They have their own vegetable farm where they source their veggies from
2. The kolomee (ref noodles for our overseas friends) really changes the game because now we get the best of both worlds - ‘unhealthy’ indomie supper feels but with veggies nutrition 🤪
There is QQ texture & using noodles still blends & comes tgt really well with the veggie pieces. Not sure if you are able to see the glossiness / silkiness(?) in the 2nd pic.
3. It is so rich of flavour & fragrance because of substantial sesame oil 😅
4. Many unique sides / toppings you can add to the dish! Not to mention seasonal main dish specials that change weekly! So many options for us vegans - it is so hard to decide and I wna try everything (‘:

Am not v qualified to review leicha soups cos I don’t drink it much but I know their version is pretty thick 😬

This is a leicha that leaves you craving for more all the time! It’s been 2 years & I still always get so tempted to order from them whenever I see them post on insta. I just wish they were closer to where I live!!

It can be on the pricier side at $8 (price has increased! 😳) but still a definite must-try, as a treat or something.

This is usually really tasty but maybe today (人日) they made this in larger volume

and the seasoning didn't apply so well to all the veg, and the soup was a tad tasteless. The cai po is a great touch and their rice is a mix of brown and white. #abillionlove

$8 in the delivery menu! hands down BEST lei cha I’ve ever eaten, and my

mum and grandma agrees too😭 the leicha soup as I’ve said is so smooth and doesn’t leave the “siap siap” feeling after drinking, and the veggies are super well cooked and fresh. you can smell the fragrance of the salted vegetables once you open the box and it’s just mmm. absolutely love it, just that we always add extra peanuts for that crunch!

A hearty bowl of rice topped with generous amount of vegetables and tofu. It is

healthy but doesn’t discount the flavour at all 👏 I was afraid that the tea soup will be too bitter for me, but it was not. In fact, it is herbaceous without being too overpowering. It claimed to use local organic produce, which is super cool! 🙌

Favourite Thunder Tea Rice in Singapore! They use organic vegetables grown in a Singapore farm

and doesn't use MSG in their food. Tea is earthy and fragrant. Love that it's clean and green!

love to support locally grown veggies! Business has been especially bad at the food court

here. Spoke w the business owner: follow their social pages (instagram and fb) and go down to support their items! :) many creative renditions like frozen dumplings, new dishes etc!! They do not use mock meat too!! So it’s almost entirely WFPB !!

Best thunder tea rice I’ve ever tried! The ingredients are fresh, organic and flavourful, good

range of Lei Cha toppings. Very flavourful dish. The soup is grinded in the bowl that it is served in, not diluted at all! Very healthy yet yummy dish!

One of the loveliest versions of Lei Cha I’ve tried - tea broth was thick

and fragrant, all the veggies were fresh and portion was generously sized. Super happy with the meal!

rlyrly loved the leicha!! brought my friend along and he liked it too yay also

it was my first time drinking so much soup :-D and the tofu was rly soft inside too
