We started abillion to help a billion people choose vegan. You might have noticed that our company’s logo is 10⁹, which is a billion. A few weeks back our community reached 10⁷, or 10 million! That’s 10 million people choosing vegan thanks to you doing simple things like reviewing food and products. What?! Yes!!

Last year we launched our community equity program, giving you a stake in the community you’re building. That was the first time a tech company ever did something like that. And we’ve donated almost $3 million American dollars to save animals and the environment. What? A startup donating money, that’s crazy?!

And now we’re releasing a completely new impact experience, beginning with a new impact leaderboard on the app. You like to compete! So we’re helping you to compete for all the right reasons, for impact, for animals, for your health, for your community and the environment.

What’s ‘My Impact Score’?

We calculate your score by tracking how often you’re choosing vegan and inspiring others to do so. We estimate this based on your contributions on abillion, your reviews of vegan food and products, your posts, your engagement with the community, your bringing people into our community, and the impact credits you earn.

To start we’re resetting scores every 7 days. That means every week you’ve got a shot at the top 10 in your country!

Want to make the world vegan? Start here, get more engaged. If you’ve tuned in the last month, we’ve had over 30 companies participate in Vegan is Not Scary. We’ve got so much in store in 2024 to create impact for animals, people and the planet.

The time is now! Let’s go!

What all is the basis of this ranking? I noticed I'm a lot lower than the email ranks I receive. I usually get emails saying I'm ranked #2 or #3 in the US and some on this board haven't been active for several months. Does getting a new member to sign up not count in this total? Also, I've been wondering what type of reviews are preferred? Should we now be reviewing produce like apples or dishes and products? Thanks😊

I can’t see any impact score for UK. Is that coming in the new year?

Yeah I don’t understand I’m the person who posts 90% of all posts in Belgium, but am not even close to top 10 in Belgium. Whilst most in the top 10s are people who haven’t posted for years or have made like 2 reviews total ?
