🇹🇼This has a very Taiwan vibe to it. Perhaps reminds me of long long long ago, when there was the floss on bun concept?
👩🏻🍳I really give lots of respect for chefs that try to reinterpret something into their own versions. And I feel this is a great example.
🍄The floss is apparently made from dried mushroom, and I guess they lightly seasoned it so it has the semi umami sweet tastes that interestingly, doesn't contradict the cake.
💜I was so pleasantly surprised to slice through the cake, and found a thick layer of taro. OMG. Taro lovers~
😘Although I personally am not typically a salty-sweet combo lover, this is still pretty recommended.
