Those are the banks of upstream River Khwae Yai (aka Kwai), 15 minutes outside of the closest hamlet Nam Tok (itself a satellite town to Kanchanaburi). Point is, I'm in the middle of nowhere, and when the hotel says they don't have non-dairy milk that isn't sweetened coconut cream, then I'm having to turn to my own emergency supplies. At least I'm going to get a good shot while doing so, right? 😏 Though that perch on the side of my riverside bathtub is less impossible than it looks 😛
