This dish is true comfort food - stewed #seitan in a #wine sauce on a bed of #mashedpotato and topped with #shoestringpotatoes!! The chunks were tender and "meaty," and smothered in a rich sauce that had hints of barbecue smokiness. The bed of #mashedpotatoes had nice chunks among the silkiness, and the skins were in there, too, delicious. The crunchy shoestring potatoes on top added a nice texture contrast and confirmed that this was a dish for any #potatolover. This filling portion is priced at 15€.
We are so fortunate to have this 100% #allveganrestaurant in our seaside village, it has been here for years and hopefully years to come! The quality of the food is notable and their rotating menu is always filled with creative, delicious and healthy cuisine. Not to mention their homemade delectable desserts.
