A hodo rep gave us vouchers for a free hodo product, grateful for that.
The taste isnt bad but it's greasy which didnt make eating it a great experience. If people expect this to taste anything like a beef burger they'll be disappointed. Have an issue with calling it a "meat alternative". Shooting yourself in the foot because most people see right through it and consider this its own food based on taste, ingredients, nutrition etc, thus setting it up to be mocked. The packaging literally shows it on a bun next to fries, cmon man.
I wouldnt buy this due to the soybean oil, but I like it has a short #organic ingredient list. I'm not crazy about tofu anyway, much prefer tempeh. Fermentation nulls the phytoestrogen concerns with soy and offers extra benefit with probiotics, better for the gut.
