I’ve been wanting to try Meati products for a while now, but haven’t been able to find them in Canada yet - since I’m down in the states I took the opportunity to try these steaks out! The texture is surprisingly meaty, but a teeny bit rubbery, which I kind of expected since it’s made from mycelium. The seasoning and flavour was very tasty. I think next time I would cook these in some sauce, as they were a bit dry. Overall, impressed at the texture they achieved with mycelium!
