🥰Thoroughly enjoyed this dish! I loved how they used whole food ingredients to provide a comfort experience!
🍞The way they handled the sourdough has improved since the first time I had it (partly why I was surprised). They took the time to grill the toast wihout or with minimal oil, which gave the toast a slight crisp. But since it was rather thick, the insides stayed chewy.
🍳The tofu block acted as a bed of whites for the pumpkin yolk. Which is brilliant cos a tasted good, and had a nice dense chew... like a firm bed. 😆 And rather than try to imitate the flow of a yolk when it is sliced through, they just flowed it on first. So brilliant. And... Taste so good with the slight umami taste. I don't think they added kala namak, or maybe there was?
🥕The veg was simple but important for a well rounded meal, and a crisp refreshing texture. Great complement! I did feel the vinaigrette was optional, but no harm having since it's not loaded with oil
