Because of the added hemp seed oil, there’s a sight bitterness to the otherwise berry flavoured kombucha, and while the mouth-feel is refreshing from the bubbles initially, that oil leaves you afterwards with a slightly fatty film in your mouth, like you’ve accidentally tried to drink the liquid from a can of dolmades before realising it’s 50% soybean oil. It’s quite an unexpected sensation from a fizzy drink but it’s not altogether unpleasant- just a strange combination of mouth-feels. It stilled worked well for soaking my porridge oats in and chucking into smoothies.
