My family and I visited Crock and Cock for the first time a few days back. I ordered this vegan skillet of fried potatoes, béchamel type sauce, and grated cheese, and I added vegan eggs for +2€. It was okay, though kinda oily for me. I'm okay with it being sticky due to the melted cheese, but it was a bit salty after a few bites. I'm a (vegan) cheese lover but this was too much, even for me; I think it'd taste much better with less oil and cheese and some sort of vegan mince or vegetables to make it easier to eat. The eggs were tasty; the egg white was much better than the yolk for me, but both were well done. Note that the yolks had a cooked/boiled consistency more than a runny one. The skillet came with two (big) slices of bread and a sort of tomato pure on the side. I couldn't finish it, so we brought it home. They gave us some cardboard containers, which I prefer to plastic ones. In short, I love vegan cheese but I wouldn't order this dish again.
They have plenty of vegan options but the service left a lot to be desired. It took them long to give us a table (not because it was full but because it was busy); it took them even longer to get our order and bring the food; they missed the eggs in the burgers my parents and sister ordered (non-vegan and vegan ones); getting the leftovers in containers and paying the bill took forever... It was a bit too much. As I said in my previous review, I doubt my family will be willing to go back, though I may; they have many vegan options both on the menu and at the counter.
