I think I’ve traveled the world and had dosas in at least 40 countries. It’s one of my favorite things and what’s not to love?! A thin crispy crepe made from fermented semolina flour, with lightly caramelized onions in the batter and served with my favorite coconut 🥥 chutneys and sambar, a deliciously thin spicy lentil soup.
The dosa at Balaji Bhawan is my new favorite here in Singapore! It’s hard to find a good dosa that’s got tons of flavor and is cooked to perfection. This one hit the spot and made for a perfect lunch!
Pro tip: ask for the masala on the side. The masala is the mashed potato served with the dosa and it goes better outside instead of being stuffed inside where it makes the dosa soggy.
Will definitely be going back here. Also appreciated the abillion sticker on the door when I walked in 🌞
