This #pesto is sans #pinenuts so it’s definitely less rich than what I’m typically used to, but making your own is a ridiculously expensive endeavour in Singapore 🫠 Thankfully that also means it’s more accessible for people with nut allergies or are looking to cut back on their calories — though it’s still 100 kcal per serving 💀 Oil is fat is fat, honey 💅
They supposedly use #tofu in this but taste or texture wise it really isn’t noticeable. What’s odder is that they list potatoes in the ingredients 🥔 I think that potatoes are the right answer in any situation but I still think it’s a little odd 🧐 Perhaps as a thickener? 🤷♀️
I got this at NTUC 🛒 I’d recommend adding some #nooch or pinenuts yourself if you need a little extra richness 😉 Otherwise, it’s plenty decent as is ✌️
