Review of Vegan Powdered Raspberry Jelly Filled Donut at Baker Benji's by lizmaselli
Greg has been trying to get these #donuts the past few times he's gone home and traveled through Dayton. They only have the #vegan donuts on weekends, and they sell out very quickly. They recommended calling ahead or pre-ordering. So, he finally got his hands on a few, and with some other things going on, they were accidentally left in the hot car over night, then put into the fridge to firm back up.
So not only were they potentially unsafe to eat, (did it for abillion) but they also were very misshapen and were smashed together. These #raspberry donuts also originally had powdered sugar on the outside, but it melted off, and even had a bit of icing from another.🤣 We ended up putting the donuts in the air fryer before eating. They still tasted good and nobody has food poisoning, yet, so I think we're good.
The raspberry filling was delicious and these are more traditional donuts vs the bready- yeasty ones I've been getting in Columbus. These truly are great. They are a great price and great #value and under $2.
My friend @gemcityvegan ordered a delicious #vegan birthday cake for her party last year, which everyone loved. They also have vegan turnovers, I believe daily.
