My partner @malcolmcg and I bought this product in #november when we were travelling in #lisbon #portugal #europe. We brought it back to our apartment in #canada and made it for #breakfast a few times. The preparation is simple enough: mix the powdered #veganegg with water and oil. We weighed out everything on our kitchen scale and used #oliveoil as the oil. The smell of the powder is very eggy, but the taste is less pronounced, which I don’t mind as the strong sulphur egg isn’t my preference. The first time we cooked it, we tried making #scrambledeggs which didn’t work out great. The package clearly states it is good for scrambling but the texture of the mixture when it hits heat made that very difficult and made it cook unevenly. Every time since then we have stuck to a simple #veganomlette, which yields much better results. The flavour of the product is a bit of an acquired taste but now that we’ve finished the bag, we love it and are going to miss it! The things I love about this product over #justegg are that it is #shelfstable, much #cheaper, and doesn’t run out nearly as quickly. As far as #veganeggs go, I’d recommend!
