laugenstangen are similar to pretzels, just a different shape. they are from rewe's own brand so not that expensive. i forgot the exact price but i do remember that the price of laugenbrötchen (pretzel dough but shaped like rolls) from rewe per kilogram is cheaper. just a fun fact.
i once read that these pre-baked bake-them-again-yourself (how to translate "aufbackware"?) are not very environmentally friendly. yeah, they don't have to be stored in the freezer but the dough is made, than packed in plastic and brought to somewhere to bake it for the first time, than packed in plastic and brought to the supermarket and then brought home to the customer and baked there - sooooo much energy is required.
therefore, i try not to purchase those ready pretzel sticks but the kind you just store in the freezer.
vegan, not organic, contain gluten and alcohol, sugar free.
