Caramel 'cheesecake' made using cashews, #oatmilk, and #coconutmilk; personally felt it was soft and light, more akin to mousse than cheesecake. Interspersed with pockets of powdery fine Biscoff biscuit crumbs (slightly dry and sandy). Also lined with granola at the bottom, as well as topped with 70% dark Belgian chocolate shavings and chocolate almond bark. 🍪🍫 Definitely on the sweeter side. The distinctly different textures of the cheesecake and biscuit crumbs didn't gel very well in my opinion, as they weren't evenly distributed. Still a unique flavour nonetheless! Currently at a promotional price of $3.90 at all outlets till end Dec 2023~ ✨ The counter staff told me they were running the promo in the hopes that more people would get to try out and find a little joy in their vegan parfait cups. Packaged in plastic, but understandably so, since these are designed as a takeaway, grab-and-go concept. (U.P. $7.50) #sgvegan #sgbakes #sgcakes #sgdessert

veganhubby Me too. I’m definitely going for this offer. Vegans don’t have it easy as the prices are so high for us. That we have to pay more just to exclude meat and diary.

How difficult to remove eggs and diary or is it even necessary to have them in the first place 🤷1 likeReply
xinru-t To be fair, I think it takes a lot of practice and skill to craft good vegan desserts, and the cost price for vegan substitutes such as Oatside oat milk is indeed higher than dairy milk. Ideally we shouldn't be penalised with a "vegan tax" for making a compassionate choice, but unfortunately for now the society isn't at that level yet - hopefully we're slowly getting there! To be honest I've only entered the workforce for several years and don't have much spending power, but I'm grateful for and supportive of F&Bs that try their best within reason to be inclusive and vegan-friendly. ☺️ Do give these vegan parfaits a try while the promo is still around! My banoffee is my personal favourite. 😋1 likeReply
