Vegan alternative to the classic #mars bar! 🍫
The #nougat has that characteristic syrupy malt flavour that tastes like a type of caramel to me. It’s sugary #sweet and has good flavour. It’s sticky and a bit dense, gets slightly stuck to the teeth! It has some chew to it, but a bit less so than I remember these bars having as this wasn’t nearly as compact.
The #chocolate is good! Very much a #mylkchocolate, pretty sugary and not super rich on the cocoa flavour. I really like that. Might be cloying for some people that don’t like super sweet chocolates. It pairs really well with the yummy #toffee flavours of this bar.
The caramel layer is pretty thin, but offers a good amount of sweet and rich #caramel flavour that is a bit buttery. It is gooey, but not runny or overly sticky. Very good consistency!
It is #palmoilfree, #soyfree and #glutenfree. May contain traces of nuts. Clearly vegan and the packaging is also #recyclable!
💵~42 NOK at Diggbox. It is soo pricey for single bar! Sadly that’s how it is with imported products like this.
The flavours are very balanced and you do taste every part when biting into this bar and it is really good! The only thing holding it back slightly is that I wish it was a bit more firm, but I’d still buy it again.
