🫐💚 Another gem from Houlden’s Rise Above! 💜🍃

Flaky laminated danish dough with fresh basil, blueberry jam & cream cheese. Garnished with vanilla buttercream and fresh blueberries.

I am not even a little bit ashamed to admit that I’ve eaten 6 pastries in the last two days…
1. Because I couldn’t control myself.
2. Because Life is meant to be lived right?!

This was part of this past weekend’s Summer Preorder Box.

An explosion of flavors. The blueberry filling had a lovely tartness and the hit of fresh basil made it really unique. This was the best buttercream I have ever eaten! It’s really rich & sweet so a dollop was the perfect amount .

Houlden’s (which is completely vegan) is truly an awesome place. Good people doing good things in the community and the pastries are to die for!
