This ready to eat couscous was a side dish to a charcuterie board put together by a friend. It was complemented with a soft baguette, bruschetta, hummus, olives, sliced red peppers and a wonderful bottle of Chilean Sauvignon Blanc.
The couscous itself was delicious and fresh. I’m surprised I don’t eat couscous more often considering I really enjoy it. It was dressed up with red and green peppers, tomatoes, black olives, green onions, parsley and lemon juice. Unfortunately, Fontaine Santé couscous has more sodium than I would like. On a positive note, it’s a great source of fibre and iron. 
This couscous was purchased at Metro. Although it’s convenient to get this ready to eat product, I’d prefer to make my own and control its ingredients.
